Our Thoughts
When I think of what Jesus did for mankind, the words ‘Thank you’ seem inadequate but thankfully, He sees right into our hearts and knows just how grateful we are. Paul puts it aptly:“Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans 5:7-8 (NLT)
True salvation comes when a person realizes he is a sinner and in need of a Saviour, and that Jesus is that Saviour who has paid the price to redeem us from our sinful nature. It is the heart of such a one that would sometimes stop and marvel yet again at the amazing love of Christ and declare, like the heavenly beings,
“…. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:12 (KJV)
